A Limitada with volume.
The taste of the Grand Epicure is characterised by fine, complex aromas with low strength. The cigar has a length of 130 mm and a large ring gauge of 55. The production name of this format is "Montesco" and it has so far only been offered as a "Wide Churchill" in the Romeo y Julieta brand. The Grand Epicures come on the market in two-layer boxes made of unvarnished wood, each containing 10 pieces with a sliding lid (SLB).
For the limited productions, specific formats are always selected that are not part of the brands' standard portfolio. They are also characterised by their naturally fermented, dark wrapper leaves. This results from the use of tobacco leaves from the uppermost part of the plants. Only certain Habanos manufactories with particularly great experience are selected to roll these limited-edition cigars. For the production of the Ediciónes Limitadas, only tobaccos aged for at least two years are used for the filler, wrapper and binder, which come from the best Vegas Finas de Prima from the Pinar del Rio zone.
These cigars are identified as "Edición Limitada" by a second black and gold cigar ring with the year printed on it.
