The Montecristo Wide Edmundo is the latest addition to the most popular cigar brand in the world, and the largest ring gauge to feature in its regular production line. It was the final cigar to be announced at a fascinating first edition of Habanos World Days in 2021.
This Wide incarnation is the fourth Edmundo to be regularly produced by Montecristo, and begins a new tradition of having a second band, bearing the name of the vitola in the traditional yellow livery. Montecristo Edmundo is a series under the Montecristo line named after Edmund Dantes, the title character from The Count of Montecristo. Keeping to the theme of 50+ ring gauge the Montecristo Edmundo releases are known for, the Montecristo Wide Edmundo is a Duke No. 3 measuring 54 x 125 mm (54 x 4 59⁄64″). It will be presented in ten and 25-count boxes. Habanos SA says a tube offering will also be offered.
This cigar will be presented in boxes of 10 or 25 cigars, and in aluminium tubes.
