With the Partagas Aliados a new format of the tradition-rich Habanos brand Partagás is coming onto the market. It bears the production name "Delirios" and appears for the first time in the Habanos range. Despite the medium ring gauge of 45, the cigar appears very well-proportioned and almost slender due to its length of 167 mm.
Slim, elegant cigars in long formats are slowly but surely becoming more popular again. Cuba's oldest brand is taking this into account with a brand new vitola for selected retailers. The Aliados is hand-rolled in a Double Corona-like format. It offers a smoking pleasure of about 65 to 80 minutes.
In terms of strength, the new Partagas Alliados is quite strong, but absolutely harmonious. In terms of taste, it offers a generous pinch of various spices over the entire course of the smoke. Starting with warming black pepper over exotic nutmeg and allspice up to that distinctive resinous, quite brand-typical note. The spice bomb is balanced by a delicate floral sweetness, in the last third increasingly by a peaty earthiness. Quite strong, but absolutely harmonious!
