Partagas Serie P No. 2 Santiago de Cuba

A classic cigar to commemorate the 500 anniversary of this beautiful city.

The Partagas Serie P No. 2 Santiago de Cuba was created to to commemorate the 500 anniversary of this beautiful city in Cuba. The Cuban rum brand with the same name "Santiago de Cuba" has released a special edition of its dark rum.

If there is one particularly famous cigar factory in Havana, it is the Partagás Manufactory. It is located at Calle Industria 520, just behind the Capitol, in the heart of the city. The brand was introduced in 1845 by Don Jaime Partagás. Since then, the cigars bear his name.

You can immediately recognize a Partagás by its heavy, earthy aroma. The character of this blend comes from a selection of filler and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abajo tobacco growing region, chosen for their distinctive richness in flavor and aroma.

Partagás are available in a rich selection of formats, including the Lusitania and the 8-9-8, a cigar that gets its name from the way it is arranged in three layers on top of each other in the box.

Probably the most famous Partagás, however, is the Partagás Serie D No. 4, a robusto that was once part of the legendary Partagás alphabet in the 1930s . In 2005, a Piramide was added, the Partagás Serie P No. 2, which very quickly became popular with friends of strong cigars. Since 2011, the Partagás Serie D No. 5 and the Partagás Serie E No. 2 with ring gauge 54 extend this line.
