One of the driving forces of the brand.
The Punch Double Coronas in the Prominentes format is already an impressive piece of Cuban craftsmanship just because of its lush dimensions. As usual with cigars from Punch, the typical Cuban flavors are covered here.
Punch is one of the oldest Habanos brands. Manuel Lopez of Juan Valle & Co. founded this brand in the mid-19th century with an eye to the profitable British market. These cigars take their name from the British satirical magazine Punch, which was already very 'in' in England at the time. This is certainly one of the reasons that this brand is still one of the most popular in England. A satisfied Mr. Punch, the clown who represented the magazine at the time, can still be seen with a cigar in his hand on every box.
In 1925, the brand moved to the factory where the Hoyo de Monterrey was made. This collaboration continues to this day. The cigars of this brand are characterized by a very good price-quality ratio, in addition to their fullness of aroma, which can be described as deliciously sweet and spicy. The formats: Punch Double Coronas, Punch Punch, Punch Coronas, Punch Churchills.
