An almost unknown jewel in the portfolio of Habanos.
With the "Senadores" Habanos S.A. brings out for the first time a format of the brand Quay d'Orsay as a Limitada. The cigar experienced its worldwide premiere in Paris in September 2019. They have the rare format "Hermosos No. 2" with a length of 157 mm and a ring gauge of 48. It thus appears very well-proportioned and elegant and thus fits perfectly with the original character of this brand, which since its inception stood for long and slender formats.
Quay d'Orsay is a fairly young brand in the Habanos range. In 1973, it was introduced by Cubatabaco exclusively for the French market. The inspiration came from SEITA, the former French tobacco monopoly. The name of the brand refers to the famous street on the banks of the Seine in Paris, where the company was based at the time. For more than 40 years, the brand was an almost unknown jewel in the portfolio of Habanos.
Like the Montecristos Supremos of the Edición Limitada 2019, the Quai d'Orsay Senadores also present themselves in a design box untypical of the brand. The taste of the Senadores is characterized by the light and fine-aromatic blend typical of Quai d'Orsay. It consists, as usual for the cigars of the Edición Limitada, exclusively from at least two years matured tobaccos.
