Trinidad Robusto Extra Travel Humidor

Updated: Mar 16, 2021

A missed vitola by many finally arrived.

This year Habanos is presenting the Trinidad Robusto Extras Travel Humidor. The Trinidad Robusto Extra was launched as a regular production cigar in the brand portifolio in 2004 but was discontinued in 2012.

The travel humidor has a limited production of only 10,000 pieces containing 14 Trinidad Robusto Extras. The news tends to be very appreciated among the fans of the brand as many missed this vitola.

Habanos took the chance to expose some of the new products presented at the Habanos Festival like the Montecristo Herederos, celebrating the 85th Anniversary of the brand, the Hoyo de Monterrey Primaveras “Year of the Ox”, dedicated to the Chinese lunar calendar, and the Bolivar Belicoso Finos Reserva, among others.

Interesting to know: The name Trinidad is a tribute to the city of Santísima Trinidad, founded in Cuba in 1514 and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988. Trinidad's origins as a Habanos brand date back to 1969; just like the Cohiba brand, it was only issued as a state gift for high-ranking foreign dignitaries for many years. In 1998, this brand was finally made available to smokers around the world, albeit in very limited quantities.
